- How fast can NOVODENT deliver ?
The VAT Identification Number (VAT ID) is a unique identifier for businesses involved in the taxable supply of goods or services within the European Union (EU).
It is required for the proper handling of intra-EU trade and must be provided by any business engaged in cross-border transactions within the EU.
Deliveries within the EU:
A delivery to another EU member state is exempt from VAT (intra-community supply) if the following conditions are met:
- The goods are shipped to another EU member state.
- The recipient is a business entity within the meaning of EU tax law.
- The recipient provides a valid VAT ID to prove their business status.
Under the destination principle, taxation is shifted to the recipient's country. The recipient is then responsible for paying the VAT through the process known as intra-community acquisition.
Services within the EU:
For services provided to businesses in other EU countries, the VAT liability may be shifted to the recipient’s EU member state by using their VAT ID. In this case, the reverse charge procedure applies, meaning the recipient is responsible for declaring and paying the VAT in their own country.
With a consolidated shipment, multiple orders are combined and shipped together in one transport process. This allows the packages to be cleared through customs only once and delivered VAT-free within the EU.
Exceptions:
- Deliveries to Austria are subject to the statutory VAT of 20%.
- Deliveries to Switzerland are subject to the statutory VAT of 8%.
NOVODENT covers all customs clearance costs in full, ensuring that you incur no additional fees for customs processing. This guarantees a fast, secure, and cost-efficient delivery of your order.
Please note that we require a valid VAT Identification Number (VAT ID / UID) for shipping your order. This is mandatory for all B2B orders within the European Union and is necessary for the proper processing of intra-community deliveries.
Payment Methods at NOVODENT
At NOVODENT, all orders are initially processed on a standard invoice basis. This means you will receive your goods promptly, and the invoice can be paid within 15 days from the invoice date.
To protect the interests and financial security of NOVODENT, we reserve the right to switch specific customers or orders to prepayment – particularly in cases of negative credit checks, outstanding payments, or unusual ordering behavior. In such cases, the invoice must be paid in full before shipment.
Available payment methods:
- Invoice: Payment within 15 days after receipt of goods (default).
- Prepayment: Payment must be completed before shipment if required by NOVODENT.
This policy ensures fast and reliable delivery for our customers while maintaining the financial stability and security of our company.
As a manufacturer, NOVODENT maintains a well-stocked inventory and can ship most products directly from stock. Orders received before the daily cut-off time are usually processed and shipped on the same business day, ensuring fast and reliable service for our customers.
Exception: For consolidated shipments, multiple orders are combined into a single shipment. This not only reduces shipping and customs costs, but also significantly lowers CO₂ emissions and environmental impact. Consolidated shipments are usually carried out every 7–14 days.
With this logistics approach, NOVODENT actively supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12) and Climate Action (SDG 13). This allows us to combine fast delivery with a sustainable, resource-efficient shipping process.
